
Three Orange County sheriff units were engaged in a wild crash near Stanton overnight that left a driver stranded.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred near the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and Beach Boulevard at approximately one in the morning.
A different car that was moving quickly collided with the patrol cars as deputies were responding to a car fire.
The driver was rushed to the hospital in an unidentified condition, but the deputies were unharmed.
According to a witness, in order to extricate the driver, firefighters had to cut the automobile apart.
